He has been a college student, cook, contract laborer, receptionist, grocery store clerk, bookstore clerk, restaurant manager, bartender, and a homeless person at different times in his life.

Currently, John lives in Knoxville, Tennessee with his wife Sydney and their two dogs (Layla and Zeus) and two cats (Michael and Beans). It's a handful, but life is good.
