About The Book

Time is running out.

After saving the world twice, Xander, Jameson and friends plunge headlong into a new crisis. The ithani―the aliens who broke the world―have reawakened from their hundred millennia-long slumber. When Xander and Jameson disappear in a flash, an already fractured world is thrown into chaos.

The ithani plans, laid a hundred thousand years before, are finally coming to pass, and they threaten all life on Erro. Venin and Alix go on a desperate search for their missing and find more than they bargained for. And Quince, Robin and Jessa discover a secret as old as the skythane themselves.

Will alien technology, unexpected help from the distant past, destiny and some good old-fashioned firepower be enough to defeat an enemy with the ability to split a world? The final battle of the epic science fiction adventure that began in Skythane will decide the fate of lander and skythane alike.

And in the north, the ithani rise….

Y’ALL! I was worried.  There were so many pieces and amazing characters and this crazy fabulous world that we have been immersed in and I wanted the finale to be as spectacular as the rest…..and holy wow. I mean.

Y’ ALL!  I got my wish. This last book took all of the ingredients we loved from the first two and then added something truly special.

I am gushing, I know. I read this book in almost one sitting because the adventures and the action kept me so engrossed that the rest of the world faded into the background. It was very disconcerting to put down the book and realize that I was in my own living room.

This is a modern take on a space opera. There is phenomenal world building with this third in the series as the finale. These books are most definitely a series and should be read in order.

There are intertwining threads and characters that need the time to develop and it is a strength of Coatsworth that they all come together in such a beautiful way.  The ending of this space saga was so satisfying.

I found myself rooting so hard for these characters.  Xander and Jameson are characters that stick with you and to see this end is very bittersweet.

If you like a science fiction world that is all encompassing and is LGBT centered, you must pick up this trilogy.

In writing this bio I am taking a rare break from reading! I always have a book on hand just in case there is time to sneak in a chapter or two. As a military spouse and a mom of two boys, it is amazing how often I am hurrying up to wait. Luckily for me I don’t have a favorite genre so I get lots of fun authors to choose from. My education was in sociology and mental health counseling, so stories with strong character development are my favorites. Happily Ever After is the best part of romance for me because real life is hard enough.
