Wendy Van Camp
Poetry
Wendy Van Camp writes science fiction, fantasy, historical regency, along with poetry and non-fiction essays. Her poetry and essays have appeared in Indie Author Magazine, Star*Line, Scifaikuest, Worlds of IF, and many other journals. Her books include the Austen Regency Series, Letters From the Sea and her speculative poetry series Scifaiku Astropoetry which begins with her Elgin-nominated collection The Planets. She was the editor of the sci-fi poetry anthology series Eccentric Orbits, was inaugural editor and creator of Anaheim Poetry Review, and was a guest editor for issue #46 of SFPA’s Eye to the Telescope. Wendy was named Anaheim Poet Laureate (2022-2024) and served a two-year term where she coordinated city literary events and mentored the Anaheim community of poets. Currently, she is Co-Chair of the Poetry Committee at SFWA. She works at her woman-owned small press, an editorial and writing coach business, Indigoskye Press. She lives between a writing desk and painting easel in Anaheim, CA.
