The Wildblood Series

A Post-Apocalyptic Action Adventure

No one remembers what started the war, the big one. Civilization stopped, and what came next was fueled by rage and fear.

Twenty years on, The Vista remains isolated, and the original survivors are content with that. Their children are not. The search for others will send them out into a world they know nothing about, where the line between enemy and ally is blurred.

Excerpt:

“How many times have you looked down that road and wondered who was headed this way?” Kaden asked casually, handing the other man a beer. A warm summer night, and the Dakotas didn’t have an abundance of those even before the war.

They sat on the porch, contemplating.

“I wouldn’t try to guess,” Harlan said, taking the beer. “Let’s not.” He considered the idea, then shook his head, deciding it wasn’t worth dwelling on. “Do you remember the first time we came here?”

Kaden smiled, the memory a better one for him than his adopted father. “I do. It was snowing.”

“You were four, and we’d been moving to make sure no one followed. The snow didn’t bother you.”

“By the end of the summer, you’d hidden a dozen of us here, more in other places. Seventeen years ago. After a while, I understood all the reasons you couldn’t tell me.”

Harlan shrugged. “The important thing was you were safe.”
