Scion of Two Pantheons

by Ted Striker

A killer, not a hero. That's how Bryan West thought of himself. It took a kidnapping, a double possession, a fervent priestess, a werewolf queen, and a death god to change his mind. The problem is that heroes have notoriously short life expectancies. Will Bryan survive to become the hero they need? Scion of Two Pantheons, Ted Striker’s debut novel, is an exciting addition to the great fantasy tradition of Robert Jordan, Glen Cook, and George R. R. Martin.

About the Author

While not an ex-fighter pilot or a traumatized war veteran turned taxi driver, I have fought in countless engagements across the galaxy and in more than a few universes. I’ve gone into battle with everything from magic and swords to blasters and starships. I've seen the twin suns rise over the one habitable moon orbiting Kepler-47c and I’ve walked through the dimensional portal from the Plains of Tjawi to the Sonoran Desert, and from there to Tucson, where I got a couple of green chile tamales from Lerua’s on Broadway Blvd. I believe that life is more than working and sleeping, and that reading is one of the great keys to life itself, for it opens the whole of existence to us and lets us live lives beyond our own. That’s why I read, and why I write.
