I loved this book for few reasons: 1 is about women above 40 years old; 2 no talk about virgens; 3 strong woman who did not give up life or love, 4 the personages have real thoughts, actions and feelings; 5 almost made me cry in the end first with sadness and with happiness. Well done and I recommend this book. Now I need to read book one and all the other.
on Goodreads:Not even done reading and I am buying the rest of the series! I found this author thru a recommendation on facebook. Started this story yesterday and I love it. Her world building is amazing and her characters are 'mature', so not a story about some 20 somethings finding love. This is a wonderful story of some 50 somethings, one human, one night, finding something very special...with a little help from a dating agency.
Very fun read.

I just adore this book. Love the older woman as the sexy heroine. Love the hero, an older avian alien king. Love the steam, the angst, her BFF who eggs them on, his BFF who meddles and pays for it... The low-key humor is wonderful. Actually, the whole book is wonderful.
This fun spin on 'aliens need brides' includes a widower king attempting to justify a 'love match' in a society where it's unheard of and a smart, compassionate caseworker seeking a partner who isn't a control freak. There a some super fun moments of confusion when cultures clash as well as a some suspense and smexy times. 4.5 stars rounded to 5 because both MCs are over 40. And, King Kyzel has wings.
